How a Neon Sign Sparked a Full Restaurant Rebrand at DoubleTree Nashville

It all started with a "neon" sign.

The restaurant we were marketing needed a better way for guests to find it—without cluttering the lobby with directional signage. There was already a sign promoting breakfast and lunch/dinner, but it wasn’t lit, and depending on the time of day, it could be hard to see.

“What is the restaurant ACTUALLY called?” I wondered. Once I figured that out, I decided to start fresh, with a new logo and full rebrand, designed in Canva. If we were going to do this, we might as well do it right: polished menus, cohesive marketing, and no more copier-printed cardstock menus being reprinted every couple of weeks.

NeonSignTX on Etsy won the bid and delivered an incredible faux-neon sign in record time. From there, things took off. I wrapped up the new menus and ordered through VistaPrint, created an outdoor vinyl sign and A-frames to drive street traffic, updated elevator signage, launched an SEO- and AI-optimized Squarespace site with SinglePlatform–powered menus, and a full suite of private event information and redesigned the Agilisys-powered In-Room Dining portal to match the new branding.

There’s still plenty to do—but we’re well on our way.
